THE OLD GREEN HOUSE ACCOMMODATION

Orchard Cottage stands in beautiful gardens and grounds of approaching an acre, mostly laid to lawn with ornamental and fruit trees, bushes, shrubs and flower borders. There are a number of lovely sitting areas (to take account of the sunny aspect and stunning views), various outbuildings and extensive driveway parking for many vehicles.
Claverton is a very pretty small village at the head of the Limpley Stoke Valley, less than 4 miles from the centre of Bath. The Church of St Mary The Virgin (dating back to the 13th Century and where Ralph Allen is buried) stands close by and there is a regular bus service into Bath and Bradford-on-Avon. The house is well placed for Bath University, Monkton Combe, Prior Park and King Edwards Schools and the countless shops and amenities in the city centre, whilst wonderful walks are close at hand - through the adjacent open countryside, alongside the River Avon or Kennet and Avon canal towpath.
Leaving the city centre heading South/East on the A36. Pass Bathampton and a mile or so beyond, you will reach Claverton Village. Take the second entrance into the village on your right (through the stone pillars) and the driveway to Orchard Cottage will be found on your left hand side, immediately before the field.
